ANY PERSON DESIRING TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL AND PARKING AUTHORITY SHOULD COMPLETE A SPEAKER REQUEST CARD AND SUBMIT THE CARD TO THE CITY CLERK/SECRETARY PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL, PARKING AUTHORITY AND HOUSING AUTHORITY MEETING. AFTER OBTAINING PERMISSION TO PROCEED BY THE PRESIDING OFFICER SPEAKERS SHOULD FIRST STATE THEIR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS FOR THE RECORD. THEY THEN SHALL STATE THEIR BUSINESS FOR ALL GOVERNING BODIES BRIEFLY AND COMPLETELY AND UNLESS GRANTED FURTHER TIME BY A GOVERNING BODY SHALL LIMIT THEIR ADDRESS TO THREE MINUTES. RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff Recommends that the City Council approve an agreement with Matric Consulting Serviced, Ltd. for the analysis, evaluation, and recommendations related to permitting processes.
Progress Payment #5 in the amount of $151,789.96 due to Klassic Engineering & Construction, Inc of Orange, CA for Hawthorne Housing Rehabilitation of City Owned Properties 2023 (Project #23-09)
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve this Progress Payment #5 to Klassic Engineering & Construction Inc of Orange, CA.
Progress Payment #4 in the amount of $1,980,792.38 due to Sequel Contractors of Santa Fe Springs, CA for Northeast Hawthorne Mobility Improvement Project (Project # 21-05)
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve this Progress Payment #4 and approve Change Order #1 & #2 to Sequel Contractors of Santa Fe Springs, CA
The Agreement Between the City Hawthorne and West Coast Aviation for the Sales Representation and Consultation for the sale of 1988 MD500E Helicopter (Air-55) by the Hawthorne Police Department.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the Consulting Agreement with West Coast Aviation and authorize the chief of the Hawthorne Police Department to execute the Agreement and any minor amendments thereto.
