ANY PERSON DESIRING TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL AND PARKING AUTHORITY SHOULD COMPLETE A SPEAKER REQUEST CARD AND SUBMIT THE CARD TO THE CITY CLERK/SECRETARY PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL, PARKING AUTHORITY AND HOUSING AUTHORITY MEETING. AFTER OBTAINING PERMISSION TO PROCEED BY THE PRESIDING OFFICER SPEAKERS SHOULD FIRST STATE THEIR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS FOR THE RECORD. THEY THEN SHALL STATE THEIR BUSINESS FOR ALL GOVERNING BODIES BRIEFLY AND COMPLETELY AND UNLESS GRANTED FURTHER TIME BY A GOVERNING BODY SHALL LIMIT THEIR ADDRESS TO THREE MINUTES. RESOLUTION NO. 8452
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE, CALIFORNIA, approving a side letter agreement between the City of Hawthorne and the Hawthorne Executive Group (HEG) amending the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024 and Amending Chapter 2.32 of the Hawthorne Municipal Code authorizing the City Manager to execute the side letter agreement.

Progress Payment #01 in the amount of $574,859.47 due to Klassic Engineering & Construction, Inc of Orange, CA for Hawthorne Housing Rehabilitation of City Owned Properties 2023 (Project #23-09)
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff Recommends that the City Council approve this Progress Payment #1 to Klassic Engineering & Construction Inc of Orange, CA.
Agreement and Purchase Order Between the City of Hawthorne and On Power Industries for Emergency Generator Rewire Services.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff Recommends that the City Council approve an agreement and purchase order and authorize the Chief of Police to enter into and execute it on the City’s behalf.
Agreement and Purchase Order Between the City of Hawthorne and MC Electrical Inc. and S&S Power Engineering Inc. for Data Center Power System Upgrades.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff Recommends that the City Council approve the agreements and purchase order and authorize the Chief of Police to enter into and execute it on the City’s behalf.
Approve an Agreement between the Hawthorne Police Department and Brinc Drones for a five (5) year contract for Drone First Responder (DFR), in the amount of $503,750.00 and
Approval of Blanket Purchase Order, not to exceed $61,750.00 to Brinc Drones for the first year of the Brinc contract services.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the agreement with Brinc Drones for Drone First Responder (DFR) in the amount of $503,750.00 for the five-year term of the agreement and a blanket purchase order Not to Exceed $61,750.00 to Brinc Drones for the first year of the contract services and authorize the Chief of the Police Department to execute the agreement and any make minor amendments thereto.
